Outlook 2003 + gmail + corrupted east asian header

Hello everyone,

I am using outlook 2003 with my gmail account (pop), I have sender using
east asian languages (Traditional/simplified chinese, japanese). In gmail
web, I can see the header and body properly encoded, but when i sync to my
outlook 2003, the body is fine but the header will show some corrupted
character. I am using new outlook 2003 pst data file. any idea where i have
done wrong ? thanks for any input.
