hello experts
My problem is this:
Office 2003 with SP3 Slipstremed
The installation run by GPO and function well for all XP machines, BUT when
I try to run the same GPO on VISTA machines, the following occurs
Well it is not so much the GPO as the installation it self, all looks well
no errors before I try to open Outlook, 1. It seams that there is a corrupt
profile because there only a "private folder" 2. When I try to config a new
profile for the client, I get an error
"The action will not succeed due to an error in the registry. Restart
Outlook and try again. If the problem reinstall Outlook" sorry for the poor
Danish to English translation.
Configurating mail account from control panel, also spawns an error ,or well
the error is, nothing happens…. No error message here..
I've tried the following:
Restart Outlook.
Reinstall Outlook with and without service pack 1, 2 and 3
On another vista installation.
Tried to force elevation on the Windows installer at GPO (both computer and
user)
Turned off the UAC
Recreate the the GPO
Any ideas? remember this work finer on windows xp machines.
Thanks in advance
