Outlook 2003 hang after trying to send email offline

I'm trying to send an email offline with Outlook 2003 and usually when I'm still using Outlook 2000, the message will go to my draft or outbox folder and then once I connected to the internet at the office or anywhere, the message will go through without a problem. But now since I upgraded to Outlook 2003, the outlook stop responding once I click send while working offline.
Based on what I heard at the office 2003 launch event, outlook 2003 should be pretty slick in regards to working offline feature. Can anyone help me?
Do I need to configure something or anyone has the white paper on how to set it up?

At the office we're using Windows 2003 Server and Exchange 2003 Server.

Thanks so much,
CP
