Outlook 2003 hanging after cdo session

I am having an issue with several users, using Outlook
2003 on a Custom form when they go to select an approver
from our Global address book. After they select a user
and click ok, outlook hangs and they are forced to close
it down and restart. Does anyone have any information on
this?
