Outlook 2003 has no "Exchange over the Internet" option

Hi

I was told Outlook 2003 Client supports communication with Exchange server
over the internet. In fact, I have seen this option available on a friend's
machine, however mine was not shown.

I read somewhere that this option can be hidden using the Outlook ADM, which
comes with the Resource Kit. I have installed it (and also updated to the SP1
version) and explicit specified that the option be shown. However, the option
is still not available.

What's the possible cause?

Are you connnecting to Exchange 2003? Has the administrator set up the RPC
over HTTP feature on the server side?

Hi Sue

I think the administrator did that. But I do not think if he did not the
option for "Exchange over the Internet" will not be available.

The thing is this option was not even in the pop-up, I could only see the
Connection and Modem sections. There is suppose to be a third section on
"Exchange over the internet".
