I have 2 networked pcs.I want 1 only to download emails sent to one specific
address but it downloads any sent to the domain name. The other will read all
other emails sent to the domain name.Tried rules but its too late by the time
it has been downloaded.
Do I make sense?
Thanks

Hi Stevem,

There is a stupid workaround. You fetch the message, and indeed, the rule
starts. But if you make the rule to forward it to the other if you are not in
the To: list and delete the message, you have the same effect, right?

That indicates that the addresses are aliases of each other and deliver to a
single mailbox on the server.

One way to handle this is to configure both PCs to leave messages on the
server when downloading (with one configured to delete the messages after a
specified number of days) and then create a rule on each PC to delete those
messages not addressed to the specific address that PC is to receive.
