outlook 2003 html signature not good when replying to plain text e

In outlook 2003, I have an HTML signature that work really well for sending
and replying to most emails, however, when someone sends me a plain-text
email and I try to reply to the plain text email (in plain text), outlook
turn my signature into plain text (which I understand, because i obviously
can not use HTML in a plain text email).

the problem is, that the HTML signature looks really bad in plain text, so I
would like to use a different signature when replying to plain-text emails.

Is there a way to tell outlook to use a different signature when replying to
plain text emails?

Otherwise, is there a way to "program" the one signature to contain both a
HTML and plain-text version?

Otherwise, is there a way to quickly select a new signature when replying to
plain text emails? When I reply to HTML email, I can right click on the
signature and choose one of my other signatures, but this feature does not
seem to exist for plain-text emails?

Any other ideas/solutions?

Open %AppData%\Microsoft\SIgnatures and edit the .txt file that corresponds
to the plain text signature file. Make it appear as you want it. If it's
the same name as the HTML signature, it will be chosen automatically, just
as it is now.

Sure. Click the SIgnature button on the Standard Toolbar and select the
signature you want.
