Rick

Greetings! I have Outlook 2003 and for some reason it is not automatically
creating hyperlinks in my new email messages! I have configured Word as my
email editor and choose HTML for the format. I have restarted Outlook. Just
can't figure out what's going on???? Can anybody please offer a suggestion?

Thanks & God Bless!

Are you using a space after you insert the hyperlink?

Just as an annotation: I used the Detect and Repair option to correct any
errors or corrupt files (since this is an OEM product part of a Dell Inspiron
notebook). This was successful. I opened Outlook and the little box appeared
indicating, "Now opening Word 2003 as your email editor"; however, nothing
has changed: Outlook is not turning, www.embracehisgrace.com into a hyperlink
like it should; in fact, even if I choose Insert Hyperlink and the small
window opens where you enter the link address and I do, then it inserts into
the message not a actual hyperlink but the words:
{HYPERLINK"http://www.embracehisgrace.com"} but no hyperlink! I am at a loss!
I KNOW that Outlook used to automatically create hyperlinks in my messages
but alas not anymore...please help if you can! Thanks again.

Yep, Milly. I type: www.embracehisgrace.com then space...and it should turn
blue and underline and become a hyperlink...but it doesn't. Adding the
http:// doesn't make a diff either...I'm baffled. Thank you for the quick
reply, though.

the message not a actual hyperlink but the words:
{HYPERLINK"http://www.embracehisgrace.com"} but no hyperlink!

this means you are showing field codes. right click on it and hide field
codes.
