Current settings are Outlook 2003 w/SP2, OS is XP Pro. Workstation is an HP
6200 series laptop.
There is a current ongoing issue with a users Outlook in which receiving
emails that have jpg are not displayed. The user gets a red x in that
particular place for the jpg. And the other issue this user is having is when
sent an attachment (an tiny folder icon is displayed below the subject line)
the user is unable to open it as well.
I have already checked the settings in Tools-Options-Security tab =
Automatic Picture Download Settings; Mail Format and Mail Setup and nothing
helped. When I worked on this users workstation, I sent an email w/an image
and it opened up fine. HTML emails open up fine as well.
If anyone can shine some light, that would be appreciated. I am going to
attempt to create another profile to see if it's corrupt. And then if not,
reinstall Outlook on this users workstation. Or if I left out information
that could help resolve this issue, please let me know.
