I just got upgraded a few weeks ago to the new Office 2003. I was excited
that I can stop using Lotus Notes for e-mail, schedule and contacts untill I
tried to do it. The import of my contacts file from Domino (PABIMPORT) took
2 weeks and after importing 2300 contancts, I had about 700 more to go, the
computer crashed. It had work 100% of the CPU at least during the day. Am I
the only one that has 3000 comtacts?? To access the Domino database, the
option in Outlook gives me only a max of 10 minutes before it ask me again.
This is pitifull and making me wish I had not upgraded. I just got the
computer back from my IT dept. and I re-started the import again from the
biginning. The process is again the same speed as before = horrible. Can I
get some help to either increase the number of minutes to days or weeks, so
that I can let the "PABIMPORT" program running on the evening or weekend or
improve in this import process?? Can anyone help??
