Outlook 2003 - imported contacts, but birthdays don't show in cale

Hi.

I have had this problem before. When I reboot my computer I generate a
backup file of my contacts (via the import/export function). As soon as
everything is installed again I imported said file and all the contacts
appear fine. Except that all the birthdays (recurring events) I entered won't
show in the calendar, nor will the reminder go off. Last time I opened all
contacts manually (around 300!) and clicked on the birthday and saved it
again. That worked - but is there an easier way to integrate the birthdays in
the calendar again. HELP!!!

Thanks very much!! :))

That is one reason to never import native Outlook data. Why are you exporting anything? Just copy your .pst file while Outlook is closed and you have all of your files, folders, rules, etc.

Hi Milly

Thanks for your reply. However, it's done now... (I still have the Outlook
backup file, which is a .pst file...) Can I do anything now to solve my
problem??? And just for next time - where can I find my .pst file??

I appreciate your time and help!! ...very much!!
