Outlook 2003 - Inserting Spaces in Forwarded message

F

Fram_Man

I am using Outlook 2003.

Today, when I forward a message, a problem occurs. If I edit the original
text, Outlook inserts a space before and after the first thing I type. So, if
the orignal message contains the word "the" and I want to change it to
"them", I click or move the cursor to the end of the word "the" and hit a
single "m" on the keyboard. This generates the result "the m ".

A search on the net highlights several people have had this problem, but I
cannot find a solution posted anywhere.

I'm experiencing the same problemen and haven't found a solution yet.
I'm guessing by the lake of responses nobody knows and it is a hardcoded
setting.

How ever it is possible to change the settings for the reply text color, but
not to remove the inserted unwanted spaces.

I've found that this behavior isn't present in OL2007, thank god.
