Is anyone aware of any Microsoft written papers or troubleshooting guides on
instability in Outlook 2003 instability in general? Anything that may warn
users what not to use Outlook for or what not to do with Outlook?

Just curious due to some issues we are having with Outlook instability.

Thanks.

Nothing in general... what are the problems you are encountering?

We experience frequent contact data loss - bits & pieces here and there - but
significant enough to worry, such as all addresses for 5,000 contacts gone.
Luckily, we back the .pst up each night, so we can always recover the data,
but it is getting ridiculous.

Are you syncing with a PDA? Is the pst stored on a network?

Do your users have Blackberries and are you using a Blackberry server? If
yes, it is a known issue for which RIM has the solution.
