Outlook 2003 Installation Error

Hello to all -

My OS is XP Pro. My Outlook 2003 wasn't working properly. When I attempted to run the OUTLOOK 2003 Detect and Repair, I was given the option to restore default configurations, Unfortunately, after I chose that option, I can no longer run my Outlook 2003 program. I receive the following error message when it attempts to install:

"ERROR 25090. Office setup encountered a problem with the office source engine. System error 2147023838. Please open c:\program files\microsoft office\OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM and look for "Office Source Engine" for information on how to resolve this problem."

What have I done??? The problem is, the "SETUP.CHM" file isnt in the "1033" file. I've searched and searched. How can I find the "Office Source Engine" file to resolve this problem.

Someone please, please help. I rely on Outlook solely for my business and personal emails.

I found a reference on the net that says you need to start your Office
Source Engine service. Take a look here: Control Panel > Administrative
Tools > Services
