Hi,
I'm rolloing out Office 2003. I've created a custom Transform (MST) file to
use to push the installation out via Group Policy. In the Transform file
I've added a registry DWORD key 'DisablePst' and set the value to '1'. The
installation completes OK but the registry key does not get created.
This is the line viewed from the MST file viewer
OCW_Added_Reg_1 2 Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook DisablePst #1
OCW_Added_Content_MP
When I originally configured this in the Custom Installation Wizard I didn't
change the Data Type so it was left as REG_SZ, this did create the registry
key (although it was the wrong data type). Since I've changed it to a
REG_DWORD data type it does not create the registry key.
I've also tried this by importing a .Reg file into the Custom Installation
Wizard so I know I've got the correct syntax, etc.
Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.
