I have had installed on my PC, for over a year Office 2000.
Recently, I purchased a PDA, and it came with Outlook 2003 (to enable
calendar, tasks, appointments etc to be in synch with each other).
On completion of installation, it came up with the registered name of
an organisation I was associated with, and did not allow me to enter
my name.
This was a brand new, official Microsoft disk (via hp), aand I took it
out of the unopened packaging myself.
I have uninstalled the prog several times, and reionstalled it, with
same consequemces.
Can anyone suggest how I can remove this rogue name that keeps
appearing?
I installed the prog on my backup PC, and it installed perfectly, and
advised me that aalready registered, but allowed me to use my name
indetails. Of course I can only use it 50 times (now 45 times) until
it expires. And I can succesfully transfer data between PDA and PC;
which I can not do on my main PC..:-(.
Thanks
