If I attempt to creat a (task, appointment, contact) from a note in OneNote, but then abort via answering No, the note takes on a dimmed status. Why is this?
In any event, the flag is dimmed so you can avoid adding it to the summary
page. OneNote dims it as soon as you create the item and doesn't have a way
to know you cancelled the item.
The No option appears in OUtlook when you try to close the new outlook item. The question, I believe, is, "Do you want to save this item?". Yes, No, or Cancel are the options.
Ah...I always use Save and Close button so I don't see it... once ON hands
item to Outlook, it doesn't know if you saved or cancelled the item, so it
has to mark it by dimming it when it sends it to Outlook.
