For no apparent reason, Outlook 3003 is deleting calendar entries older than
6 weeks old. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, what can be done
to prevent this from happening?

Hi Judy and thank yu for responding to my post. I checked whatyou suggested
and the AutoArchive box is unchecked. Any other thoughts? I'm stumped!

1. do you synchronise with a phone or PDA? Check the settings there. It may
be deleting old items as it synchs. ie using the PDA as the primary
Calendar rather than the computer's Calendar.

2. are you sure they are gone? View the Calendar in a different view and
see if you can find old items. Try By Category View.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Hi again Judy. Yes I checked with Treo and the settings are correct - they
are not deleting. I also tried viewing the calendar in differrent views but
to no avail. Any other suggestions?

How about checking your PC for an archive.pst file. Make sure that you
include hidden files in the search parameters and search for .pst as the
file name. If you find one or more .pst files from within Outlook, you use
File | open | outlook data file to get to them.
