I am running Outlook 2003 on an XP equiped laptop. Using Outlook I pop
several email accounts and usually have no problems. Lately, outlook has
been running slower and slower and the last few weeks I have noticed that it
uses 100% of my CPU. The last couple of days, when I try to start it up it
just hangs forever, slowing down my machine, before finally starting up.
Even when I close it the CPU is still maxxed out. I have to reboot and start
over, but once I start Outlook the CPU is pegged again until I reboot. Total
size of my Inbox pst, including subfolders, is 100MB.
Please advise.
