System: Windows XP Pro SP2, MS Office 2003
I recently installed Microsoft Expression Web on my system and the junk
e-mail filter in Outlook 2003 stopped working. All incoming mail goes to the
inbox with the exception of mail I have rules applied for. The junk e-mail
options are set properly and there is a large list of Blocked Senders but
the filter just isn't working. I found some reference to the Outlfltr.dat
file in the online help sections and when I search on the file I find the
original with the correct date, 3/6/2007, for the latest update in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11\Outlfltr.dat and a second file
in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Expression\Office 12\Outlfltr.dat with a date
of 9/15/2006. I know this problem is linked to the Expression installation
but I have been unable to find a fix.
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
TIA, Gregg
