I have been trying to fix a spam problem. I am receive over 100 spam emails a
day, assuming a phishing/spam because I had recently removed a trojan virus
(backdoor.tische). We changed the password to be on the safe side, but now my
folders, specially junk mail say one amount of emails while only can few a
smaller amount, i.e says I have 20, when I can read 3. The person that I
helping with the account wants only a safe list of people to be accepted, so
everything else goes into the junk mail, so the 17 I can't see may actually
be important.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
