Outlook 2003 Locks Up

Hi,
This happens when I try to edit a Contact on my Personal Folder in Outlook
2003 (update an email address). I click on the email address, the entry
highlights but when I type just the first letter, the program freezes.

I have rebooted the computer, done a "Detect and Repair" and still can't
edit without it locking up. Any suggestions as to how to correct this
problem would be appreciated.

try running outlook /resetprofile from the run in start menu.
Also try outlook /safe

If that doesnot work, Search for the scanpst.exe and run it on your outlook
data.

Hi Arun,

Thanks for the tips but somehow this problem has disappeared over the past
day and Outlook is not locking up now. Another Windows mystery.
