Outlook 2003: lost addresses when exporting/importing emails

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this problem. We receive emails
from a remote research site, and the emails are sent via CSV (as this saves
on space - sending a .PST file is not practical due to the cost of sending
via satellite). So, in Outlook, the emails are written, then using the Export
feature (File > Import & Export > CSV (windows)), the entire folder of emails
is exported to a .CSV file. Fine. The CSV file contains the email subject,
email To, CC, BCC, etc.

However, when we try and import this file, so we can send the emails out,
the CSV doesn't import correctly. Outlook only imports the FIRST email
address for the To / CC / BCC fields. For example, if I wrote this email:

To: (e-mail address removed); (e-mail address removed)
CC: (e-mail address removed); (e-mail address removed)
Subject: blah
Body: blah blah

--only "(e-mail address removed)" and "(e-mail address removed)" would appear in the To and CC
fields. James and Duncan's email addresses are lost.

Does anyone else have this problem, or a workaround for this? Your help
would be very much appreciated!

Just a thought; Tried exporting to excel to see if there is any change, at
least in excel it might be easier to manipulate the date prior to inporting,
if the std import doesnt produce the correct mail result

Hi, thanks for your post. However, exporting to Excel also causes problems -
Excel cuts off the body of each email (perhaps something to do with the 255
character limit), and also doesn't import correctly! Arghhh...
