My outlook 2003 is connected to an exchange server.

I wan't to access the Macro Security Settings and The Visual Basic editor.

When I try and use the shortcut (alt + F11) for the editor nothing happens.

When I try and use the shortcut (alt + F8) for the macro's nothing happens

When I use the tools > Macro's > Security.. Nothing happens

When I use the tools > Macro's > Macros.. Nothing happens

When I use the tools > Macro's > Visual Basic Editor.. Nothing happens

The PC is fully MICROSOFT updated, and has upto date Norton Internet
Security installed and running.

Thanks in advance

Try shutting down Outlook and also shutting down any other applications, e.g. PDA sync, that interact directly with Outlook. Then restart Outlook and attempt to change the macro security settings again.

I called Microsoft Tech support and whilst on hold looking for my product id
number I noticed the Disabled Add-ins button..

Sure enough it was disabled!
