[outlook 2003] mail client not deafult in 64 bit

Hi All,
I have 10 stations with 64bit hardware and OS (XP 64).
After installing office 2003 + SP3, I've tried to send a file from desktop:
Send to > Mail recipient, and a wisard pops up asking me if I want to set
outlook express as deafult email.
Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot Diana, Gr8 tip!!
I've created the shortcut and it partially worked.
When sending a single file, it works perfect. When selecting several files
(in desktop for example) I get the following error "The command line argument
is not valid Verify the switch you are using"
Any suggestions?

I don't believe that Outlook's command line interface allows specifying
multiple files, so selecting more than one file for the SendTo shortcut
won't work.

Maybe it's because there are both program files and program files (x86)?

Use your SendTo shortcut to send only one message at a time or select and
drag several files to the New Message window after you've opened that
window.

I don't think that has anything to do with it.

So what you say is that's a bug/issue for XP 64bit/Office 2003, with no
remedy? (as far as you know)

That trick only works with 1 file. Drag and drop the others to the open
message.

I don't know if it’s a bug with Outlook 2003 on x64 or if its something
goofy with your machines. I know its not something specific to x64, as it
does work with Outlook 2007.
