Outlook 2003 - mark moved sent items as read

Styli

Hi

I have searched high and low to find a way to mark sent itmes that I have
moved (by using a rule) to be marked as read, once they have been moved to a
new folder.

The closest I have come was to find a custom action that was written to do
this, that would allow me to incorporate this custom action as part of my
move to folder rule. But this only worked ofr older versions of Outlook, not
Outlook 2003 which I am using.

Can anyoone help?

There is not an action to 'mark read' sent items. Can you use the outlook
option to store sent items in the folder with the original (when its not in
the inbox) or set the save folder at the time you compose the message
(options menu)?

The save with the original option is in tools, options, email options,
advanced.

There is a "custom action" file on the slipstick page intended to do
this. It appears to have been written for Outlook 2000 or 2002.
Although it installs and shows up as a Custom Action option, it doesn't
actually work for Outlook 2003. Since this was created by our hosts,
perhaps the moderator could find a solution?
