I have three rules setup for how my messages are distributed to the folders.
All three of my rules all end with "stop processing more rules." Out of the
three, there is one rule that does not seem to work no matter how I modify
it. This rule was a problem when I had Outlook 98 and it still is not
working with Outlook 2003.
I am receiving messages from a mailing list called
Scan-DC. I have the rule setup for Outlook to check for the words Scan-DC or
Scan-DC digest in either the subject or the body of the message. If those
words are there, the message is supposed to go to the Scan DC folder. I then
ended the rule with "stop processing more
rules" and then turned it on. When messages from this mailing list come in,
they are instead going to the deleted items folder. The subject actually
looks like this:
[Scan-DC]. Why is this rule not working? What do I need to do so that these
messages will go to the folder that I want them in?
