Outlook 2003 - Message Won't Send - Not in Outbox

I have two messages that will not send - they are not regular messages from
my Outbox, but I believe they are AKnowledgements requested by people from
whom I receive and read e-mail. Is there any easy way to delete these two
acknowledgements that are lingering? Thank you.
