While calmly working along in Outlook 2003 (POP3, local .PST) Outlook will
minimize itself, including all open reminders and email messages, without
warning. Clicking on any of the Outlook items on the task bar restores all
of them. This happens only to Outlook, not the rest of Office or IE, and
happens when Outlook is the only program open as well as when other apps are
also running. If other apps are running ONLY Outlook minimizes. It's
obviously very annoying while writing a new email message or reading one to
have it suddenly go away. PC is a new (installed last week) Dell, XP Pro,
Office 2003 basic, one of fourteen identical PCs only this one shows this
issue. OS and Office appear to be fully patched via Microsoft Update, at
least as of last Friday.
