Hi,
A couple years ago I setup an MST file to customize the installation of
Office and more specifically Outlook. It was working just fine until
recently. What I want it to do is setup Office and Outlook for each new
user on a given desktop, setup their Exchange account and set a couple of
preferences. It was doing this just fine last time I used it, last year
some time.
Last month I setup a handful of new computers and now what I'm seeing is
that when a user logs into a computer for the first time and launches
Outlook, it installs Office and creates their Outlook email account but it
stops and prompts them to import their personal address book. We don't use
personal address books so my users don't know how to react to the message.
Any idea what is causing this? Could it be related to a recent update,
Windows XP sp3 perhaps?
Any idea how I can stop it? I did go through the MST again but can't see
anything obvious, or I'm just missing it.
Thanks in advance,
Linn
