I have Outlook 2003 running on Windows XP Pro, on an IBM T43 laptop.
Recently, I discovered I could add an external monitor which could be
used to extend the Windows desktop (previously, I'd assumed that I
could clone the LCD or mirror it - didn't realise I could use it
separately).
However, I've encountered a strange problem with Outlook ever since.
If I lock the system (Ctrl+Alt+Del --> Lock Computer, or Win+L), when
I come back I discover Outlook has reverted to very old fashioned
icons and taskbars - as if it were running in low colour mode.
Restarting Outlook brings back the normal colours.
This doesn't happen until I lock the computer, and it doesn't happen
unless I have the second monitor attached with the desktop extended -
although it happens whichever monitor I have Outlook running on.
Can anyone else replicate this... better still, can anyone fix it?
Regards,
