Outlook 2003 - multuple email downloads

I recently reinstalled Office '03. Configured both OLExpress & OL. OLE
behaves normally. With OL, every time I open the pgm and select
send/receive, ALL the emails on my server are downloaded. The JUNK mail
rules are not followed and the anti-spam part of my CS Security Suite regards
previously cleared senders as spam. Even after I delete the deleted
messages, they are redownloaded. None of this occurs with OLE, only OL. Is
there a setting that I am missing?

This indicates that your mail profile may be damaged and Outlook cannot
retain the knowledge of which messages have been downloaded and which have
not. Start with a new mail profile. If the profile is intact, you'll get
one more full download of the messages on the server and after that it
should remember. See this: http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm

Of course, this has nothing to do with Outlook. Consult the documentation
and support services for your security suite.

Brian,
I had already redone my profiles. Still no help. I uninstalled and
reinstalled my security suite, indexed my messages for spam search and now
the problem is gone. I didn't do the indexing first time around, so that
must have been the problem. Still can't figure out the refusal to run the
junk mail action. Luckily it is of no concern now. Thanks for your advice.
