Outlook 2003 not down loading e-mails anymore

On 10/14 installed the following updates.
KB924191, KB922819, KB923414, KB924496, KB923191 - Security Updates for
Windows XP;
KB924424, KB923272 - Security Updates for Office 2003;
KB923095 - Update for Outlook Junk Email Filter;
KB923097 - Update for Office 2003;
KB923088 - Security Update for Excel 2003;
KB923094 - Security Update for Word 2003;
KB890830 - Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool Oct 2006;
925672 - MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update.

After installing, Outlook 2003 stopped pulling in or sending emails (I have
it set up to a Hotmail and Verizon (POP) account - though I use the Hotmail
more). I am only using 4% of my available Hotmail space.

I have tried:
- Deleting and reinstalling the accounts. When I reinstall it pulls in the
emails currently on the server but does not pull-in ones I get subsequently.
When I do a "Send-Receive" I get no error messages but no new e-mails get
down loaded.

- Detect and repair. - no effect. still unable to pull-in or send e-mails.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Seems to be working now Microsoft seems to have fixed something at the server
end as I did not have to install any patches nor change any settings.
