Outlook 2003 - Note - Size maximum?

Do you know if there is there is a "size limitation" on a "note" created in
Outlook 2003?

I "copied" a file that was created in Notepad (Microsoft) and tried to
"paste" it into a new "note" that I created within Outlook. About the
first 700 lines were fine --- but then the balance was truncated.

I could not seem to add any additional characters in the "note" unless I
deleted some of the characters that were already there. It appears as if
there is a maximum size or total character limit --- in any one "note"
within Outlook.

Is anyone aware of a "size constraint" in any one "note" within Outlook
2003?
