When I open an attachment to an email, edit it, and save it without
remembering to direct where it goes, the file winds up saved in c:\documents
and settings\[myname]\local settings\temporary internet files\OLK66\[file
name]. This directory is visible when I'm saving a file, or if I've later
found it. It is NOT visible in Windows Explorer.
If I go right back in with, say, Word and choose the file to open, I can
retrieve it. However, if I look for it later, using the Windows search
function (XP, SP2) it returns no search result. I have told Search it to
look in hidden folders and still no results. I want to get into that
directory and find the files I want (and move them!) and get rid of the ones
I don't want. Help!
