Outlook 2003: One user intermittently can't mark emails from one useras 'unread'

We run Exchange and Outlook 2003. One user intermittently can't mark
emails from another specific user as 'unread' - usually the latest
one. He clicks the mark as unread option but nothing happens. Any
ideas?

I am having the same issue. It worked for a little while after I did the
Outlook repair and reboot. But after a while it starts again. Strange thing
is you can still mark them as unread from some sender. Any insight will be
greatly appreciated.
