outlook 2003 out of office error out of recourses

Hi,
On several outlook 2003 clients I get the error "out of recourses" when I
click on
Out of office assistant. I already tried the mdbvu32 tool to remove the oof
rules, but with no success (kb 248709) :-(
We are using exchange 2003.
Does anybody can help me with this irritating problem, I'm getting
desprerate about this.

Does it work when you configure a profile for that mailbox on your machine?

I did let the user logon on a new installed machine, but unfortunately this
did not help. I got the same error.

Does it work when you configure a profile for that mailbox on your machine?

If you have roaming configured this wouldn't help much since the user then
copies his/her settings. If it is caused by corrupt settings you'll end up
copying the corruption. Creating a profile with that mailbox under a
username which doesn't have the OOF errors will help determine wether the
issue is in the mailbox or within the settings.

Tried the mdbvu32.exe tool again? Otherwise Exmerge the mailbox on your
server and then recreate the mailbox.
