Outlook 2003 PAB Problem

W

Walt McKinney

Help please! My supervisor is trying to modify an entry in his personal
address book, but the change does not stick. I have tried this with my
personal address book, and I get the same result.

To modify an entry, I am opening the properties window for the entry that I
want to change. The email address field appears to allow for changes, but
after a change is made, it reverts back to the original text.

Is this a known bug, or is there some special way to make changes to
existing entries??

Thanks,
Walt

I don't know of any issue related to this, but maybe it's an indicator that it's way past time to migrate away from the PAB and to the Contacts folder, which has been Outlook's main personal address book for several versions now.

I appreciate the advice, but if the PAB is made available, it should
function properly, otherwise it should be removed from Outlook.

Thanks,
Walt
