Outlook 2003 Parsing error on IMAP mail

I have a user who has reently started having some incoming messages being
unable to be seen. When enabling LOGGING the log shows entries like:

IMAP: 12:18:37 [db] PARSE ERROR: hr=2148322516

IMAP: 12:18:37 [rx] INTERNALDATE "31-Dec-2005 14:21:01 -0800")

IMAP: 12:18:37 [db] PARSE ERROR: hr=2148322522

IMAP: 12:18:37 [rx] d503 OK UID FETCH completed

I cannot see the reason for the parsing error.
