Outlook 2003 - Password Protect an e-mail

I have a situation where the managers allow their assistants full access to
their mailbox's, however the managers would like to send confidential e-mail
to each other without the assistants reading these. Can an e-mail be
password protected? Or is there another solution to this? Thanks.

Aloha DonatoT,

The solution is to not allow the assistants full access to the mailboxes.
I realize that's a fairly common scenario, but really it's not a good
one. What is the objective of allowing the assistants full access?

Thanks for replying. As I understand it, they need to be able to read, sort
and send on behalf of those managers - however, even if certain folders were
restricted, the reality is they still need access to their Inbox, and that is
where these confidential e-mails are going to end up. Without a password
protect option for individual e-mails, I do not see a solution to this
problem.
