Does anyone know how to protect Outlook 2003? I have just recently installed
Outlook and when I lanch the program it ask me for my password, but if I just
cancel the password box it allows me to go in and read the e-mails anyway.
Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?

The password that it is asking you for is the password to allow it to
download new emails from your ISP. It's not for internal security.

Internal security is controlled by login ID's. Make sure that each user of
the computer has their own login ID and that the other Login ID's only have
user access, not administrative access. (assuming you're using 2000 or XP
this also means that each user will have their own 'My documents' area and
won't be able to see the documents in yours - only administrators have all
access throughout the system).

Set a password on your login ID and if you are worried about others looking
at your session while you are logged in, but away from your screen set up a
screen saver and password protect that as well.

B.T.W. for best security make sure that your hard disk is NTFS and not
FAT32.
