outlook 2003 PIM Sync and address book protection

Is there a way to modify Outrlook 2003 SP1's default behavior of
requiring the user to authorise an external application's access to
the address book for a specific brief time period? Can a particular
application somehow be given permenant access?

No. The application vendor would need to adjust their program to avoid the
prompts.

Is there a registry setting that can be adjusted to increase the default
time to say - 30 Minutes instead of 10 minutes to permit access if the user
prompts yes?
