Office 2003 SP2 installed through Windows Update. Win2K on PC.
Prior to update, there were no performance issues.
Ever since SP2 was installed, Outlook takes 2 minutes just to open the
program; After finally getting the program open, trying to view different
folder (i.e., clicking on Calendar, Inbox, Deleted Items, etc.) takes 30-60
seconds to display selected folder.
Have run several spyware checks on system and it is clean.
There doesn't appear to be any way to uninstall the update to prove that
this was the cause of the poor performance.
Anyone else experience this?
What did you do to rectify this, short of uninstalling/reinstalling Office
and NOT apply SP2?
TIA
