Outlook 2003 problem with SMTP

My contacts list suddenly has has SMTP added to the end of all email
addresses, and most of my email I send is getting bounced back with this
message:

Failure Notice:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at smtpout03-04.mesa1.secureserver.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Sorry, I couldn't find any host named aol.com?SMTP?. (#5.1.2)

Somehow the SMTP has been inserted in most of my email addresses causing
this problem.

How do I fix it?
