Outlook 2003 problem

Just testing out outllok 2003 before full deployment and
i have two problems, on different installation.
One comes up with a RPC failure - "A system component,
RPC, required by outlook to connect to the E-mail server
is not configured properly"
Yet all the RPC services are running properly on both
workstation (XP sP1) and server (2003, exchange 2003)
or as on another workstation it opens but comes up
operation fails on every you try and do

I have the same problem. Did you find any solution yet?

THe second problem was resolved by getting another copy
of the mdeia the one i had was corrupted and did not
install properly. But trying the installation again on
the RPC problem the same error comes up. Even when trying
to work offline it fails and closes.
