Outlook 2003, problems when I'd like to create a new contact form

hello

first i'm sorry for my english, i'm from switzerland and my english is not
that well...

i'd like to create a new contact form. i know, i have to do this in the
design mode. when i change something, the look changes like the contact
forms from the previous outlook versions. this doesn't matter. but at the
previous versions there were a special button next to the phone number
field, and when you clicked on this button, there opened a new window to put
in the correct phone number. at the new look it is integrated at the phone
label. but if i insert new phone fields with label, this function is not
here anymore. how can i create this function to put the details of a phone
number into a new window?
i'd like to know this because later we are going to use a software to make
phone calls with outlook (i don't know how to explain this tool better). and
i guess, the new software or tool needs this addition window with the phone
number details - doesn't it?

i urgently need help and it would be great if anyone could help me to figure
this out!

thank you very much!

best regards,

The check phone number button is not available if you customize the first
page of the form. If this is a critical feature, you might want to confine
your customizations to other pages. You can also invoke the automatic phone
number checking with code behind the form. See
http://www.slipstick.com/dev/contactform.htm for information on that and
other limitations.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues --
microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.
