outlook 2003 Quits Unexpectedly When Selecting a different program

It closes out unexpectedly anytime i choose a different progrm, no error
message, no nothing. was thinking of just deleting profile and rebuilding it.
Since i cant find any reason for it to shut down. anyone else have this
problem? or know the correct fix.

Are you sure it closes? Is the Outlook icon still in the system tray?

no it does not stay in the system tray. It completly closes the outlook
program.
