Outlook 2003 reading panel

I use an Acer Travelmate C300 tablet notebook with Windows XP sp2 fully
updated and Office 2003 fully updated. When displaying the main window in
receiving messages, often it hangs with the reading panel open. The fact
doesn't happen when the reading panel is closed.
