Outlook 2003 replys and forwards

I can send new messages OK. I can reply to messages OK if it just is a
single messages with my reply on top. For some reason if a reply or forward
a message that has quite a few to and fro messages in different fonts and
colours etc the Outlook says sent but they are going to thin air ( tested to
myself ) they actually dont go anywhere and no failed elivery message or
anything. Any ideas ? Cheers.
