I installed Office 2003 over Office XP on a Windows XP computer. When
Outlook 2003 starts, a Windows Installer appears wanting PRORET.MSI. I
put the Office XP installation CD in, and the installer proceeds. This
happens every time I run Outlook 2003. The Event Viewer entry is below
from when I cancel the requested installation. I tried uninstalling
Office 2003, reinstalling Office XP, then upgrading to Office 2003,
with the same results. In Add/Remove Programs, Microsoft Office XP
Professional is listed along with Microsoft Office Professional
Edition 2003.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Thanks for your help.
Tom
